Materials and Meaning
For anyone looking to deepen their connection with the Sonoran Desert through multi-medium art making
Through the exploration of materials including handmade earth pigment paint, acrylic, watercolor, colored pencil and more, then continuing with a trip to the desert for field studies, together we will build a landscape of deeper meaning. You will walk away with a consciously crafted work of art evoked in relationship to the Sonoran Desert.
Weekend Immersion 9/12-9/14
Acrylic Painting for Teens
Ages 11-18 any experience level welcome
A painting workshop that will give students some useful techniques to help them enjoy working with the acrylic medium while fostering a mindset for embracing experimentation.
Weekend Workshop 9/20 and 9/21 : 1-4pm
Ritual Rite of Passage Ceremony
